Spicer Rudstrom’s S. Newton Anderson, the managing partner of the firm’s Memphis office, joined the Tennessee Bar Association’s faculty for this week’s CLE Ski in Vail, Colo. The 31st annual event draws attorneys from across the state, and those from neighboring states who are licensed in Tennessee, for a weeklong networking and educational event, where they received 15 hours of CLE credit. The diverse subject matters ranged from Labor Law and Employment Law Updates to Commercial Law and Banking and updates on the recent Tennessee Supreme Court decision in the Rye vs. Women’s Health case.
Newt co-presented “Tort and Workers’ Compensation Updates” with William (Billy) Ryan from Donati Law Firm on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Newt, a third-year presenter at this TBA event, focuses his practice on general insurance defense litigation, including automobile litigation, products liability, premises liability, insurance coverage litigation, and workers’ compensation defense, as well as probate matters and commercial real estate transactions. He has also been a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator since 2005.
