New Jersey Native Andrew Firkins Brings Practice to Firm’s Knoxville Office
Knoxville, Tenn.—(March 29, 2017) Spicer Rudstrom PLLC announced today the addition of Andrew N. Firkins to its Knoxville office. The litigation attorney has a strong background in insurance defense, with a focus on environmental and product liability. He also has experience in constitution and contract law. Most recently a legal coordinator for 21st Mortgage Corporation, Firkins will serve in an associate role for the firm.

Before joining 21st Mortgage Corporation, Firkins was an attorney with Rivkin Radler, LLP in Hackensack, N.J. There, he represented insurance carriers in claims for medical expenses stemming from automobile accidents, defended one of the largest roofing manufacturers against breach of warranty and product liability claims, and utilized motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss to eliminate liability of insurance, construction, and product liability clientele. Andrew served as the assistant editor of Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia portions of the Defense Research Institute’s Excess and Umbrella Insurance State by State Compendium: Interrelationship between Insured, Primary, and Umbrella/Excess Insurers.
Firkins is a graduate of Pace University School of Law in White Plains, N.Y. He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division, Construction Section, Litigation Section, and Tort and Insurance Law Section.
