Spicer Rudstrom attorney Richard E. Spicer was inducted as a Fellow to the Nashville Bar Association at a ceremony Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Hillwood Country Club. A partner in the firm’s Nashville office, Rich represents insurance companies and their insureds, as well as self-insured companies in serious litigation involving construction law, premises liability, insurance law, products liability, automobile and company trucking issues, and other complex litigation involving generally high-exposure claims. He serves as the chair of the firm’s Retail and Hospitality practice. Rich has also achieved an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Induction as a Fellow to the Nashville Bar Association is limited to no more than two percent of its members. The NBA was established in 1831 and serves as a professional organization for the legal community of Nashville. The NBA—with almost 3,000 members—is the largest metropolitan bar association in Tennessee.

Spicer Rudstrom’s Nashville office is now home to three Fellows of the bar association—Rich, Marc O. Dedman and Gary M. Kellar.
