Clint Woodfin Appointed Hearing Committee Member

Knoxville managing member Clinton J. Woodfin has been appointed as a Hearing Committee Member for District II of the Board of Professional Responsibility by the Tennessee Supreme Court. The appointment runs for three years. The Board of Professional Responsibility supervises the ethical conduct of attorneys and investigates attorneys’ alleged violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Attorneys on the committee conduct hearings on formal charges of misconduct and contested petitions for reinstatement, limited hearings on petitions for negotiated discipline, and hearings on such matters as the Court or Board may direct.

Clint has achieved an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He serves as the managing member of the firm’s office in Knoxville, Tenn., as well as the chair of the firm’s Trucking and Transportation practice. During his years of practice, he has represented major corporations, insurance carriers, local businesses, and individuals in all phases of litigation. His specific areas of practice include alternative dispute resolution, automobile liability, business and commercial litigation, employment practices litigation, insurance coverage, insurance defense, insurance subrogation, premises liability, products liability, real estate and construction litigation, and workers’ compensation.
