J. Taylor Thomas has joined the Chattanooga office of Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC as an associate attorney. A Chattanooga native, JT holds a bachelor’s degree in English with honors from the University of Tennessee. He went on to earn his J.D. with honors from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America, where he was actively involved in the law journal, the St. Pope John Paul II Guild of Catholic Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta. His dedication to law extended to participating in mock trial and moot court teams, achieving national competition level, and being elected to the Honor Counsel.
Post-law school, Taylor embarked on his professional career with Bloomberg in the Corporate and Transactional Division. He later returned to Chattanooga, taking on the role of Assistant City Attorney for the city before establishing his own practice. His expertise spans municipal defense, contractual and transactional issues, civil litigation, business entity formation, and corporate governance, showcasing his broad skill set and commitment to the legal field.
