Spicer Rudstrom is proud to announce that Clint Woodfin, managing partner of Spicer Rudstrom’s Knoxville office and the firm’s overall managing partner, has been officially approved for membership in the prestigious Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC). This honor is a testament to Clint’s remarkable career, exceptional leadership, and unwavering dedication to the legal field.

Clint’s professional journey began with Spicer Rudstrom in 1998, and for more than two decades, he has played a pivotal role as managing partner of the Knoxville office. Over the past seven years, he has further demonstrated his visionary leadership as the managing partner of the entire firm. He also serves as a Member of the firm’s Board of Directors, guiding its strategic direction and success.

Clint is a graduate of James Madison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990. He continued his studies at the University of Tennessee College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1993. Admitted to practice in all Tennessee courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, Clint has built a diverse and accomplished practice that includes representing major corporations, insurance carriers, local businesses, and individuals through all phases of litigation. His areas of expertise include alternative dispute resolution, automobile liability, business and commercial litigation, employment practices litigation, insurance coverage and defense, premises liability, and workers’ compensation, among others.

Known for his dedication to professionalism, Clint is a proud member of the Hamilton Burnett Inns of Court and holds an AV-Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is recognized with Mid-South Super Lawyers® and The Best Lawyers in America®. Beyond the courtroom, Clint is deeply passionate about leadership and giving back to his community. A 2010 graduate of Leadership Blount, Clint serves on the boards of and volunteers for several nonprofit organizations, including the Appalachian Ballet Company, Habitat for Humanity, Community Food Connection, and the Parish Pastoral Council for Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Parish. Additionally, he actively participates in numerous community events, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact.

The FDCC, which boasts a carefully curated membership of slightly over 1,400 legal professionals worldwide, stands as one of the most esteemed organizations in the legal industry. Membership is granted solely through an exclusive nomination process, followed by a meticulous review by an independent Admissions Committee and final approval by the FDCC Board of Directors. The selection criteria ensure that only the most accomplished professionals, who exhibit a high standard of moral character and significant contributions to the legal field, are admitted.
