MEMPHIS, Tennessee
Attorneys from the Memphis office of Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC volunteered their time and expertise to sponsor the free Second Saturday Legal Advice Clinic. The walk-in clinic provides critical access to free legal guidance for community members who might otherwise struggle to find representation.
For nearly 20 years, Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS) and the Memphis Bar Association (MBA) have partnered to offer this essential service to the public on the second Saturday of each month. The ongoing success of the program depends heavily on volunteer support from local law firms and legal professionals.
The clinic serves community members facing a variety of concerns, with many client questions involving basic legal issues. To support participating lawyers, the dedicated MALS staff provides excellent guidance and resources throughout the event. The program is designed to be accessible for all attorneys, regardless of their background. Volunteers can choose to be paired with a more experienced attorney until they feel entirely comfortable advising clients on their own.
Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC extends its sincere appreciation to Memphis Area Legal Services and the Memphis Bar Association for their continued partnership and dedication to expanding legal access. We encourage other legal professionals in the area to support this vital initiative by signing up to volunteer at an upcoming Second Saturday Legal Advice Clinic.
