Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC is honored to join Belmont University College of Law in sponsoring a panel discussion on September 16 on the topic: Law as Impediment–or Facilitator–to International Business.

As Nashville and the mid-state region continue to integrate into the world economies, the time has never been better to discuss issues pertinent to international negotiations and what the law can do to facilitate cross-border business rather than impede it. This presentation will address topics such as the law impeding or facilitating international negotiations, including choice of language, forum, law and monetary system; overcoming cultural barriers; overcoming dispute resolution; ethical considerations; and what the legal profession needs to do to facilitate international business. Joining the panel is the managing partner of Brodermann Jahn in Hamburg, Germany, whose law practice covers five continents.

The event is free and is open to lawyers, business people, faculty and law students. Parking is available at the Belmont School of Law and is free. This course has been approved for 1.5 hours of CLE credit.
