Spicer Rudstrom attorney S. Newton Anderson was inducted as a Fellow of the Memphis Bar Foundation at a ceremony last night at the Peabody Hotel. All members of the Tennessee Supreme Court were also honored during the reception.
A partner in the firm’s Memphis office, Newt’s practice involves handling various types of civil cases, advising corporate clients on business matters, and representing clients in landlord-tenant and other commercial real estate matters. He is the Managing Member of the Memphis office and serves as the chair of the firm’s Employment Law practice area. Newt has achieved an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.
The Memphis Bar Foundation was established in 1982 and serves as the philanthropic arm of the Memphis Bar Association. It is governed by a board of directors who serve a two-year term. The foundation’s mission is to promote philanthropy among Bar members, advocate and support public awareness of the legal system, promote social justice and legal education and encourage and recognize professionalism among members of the Bar.
