Taylor Thomas is a Chattanooga native and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English. Taylor earned his J.D., with honors from Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America. He was a member of the law journal, the St. Pope John Paull II Guild of Catholic Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta. Taylor was also a member of the mock trial and moot court teams, where he competed on a national level and was elected as a member of the Honor Counsel.

After graduating law school, Taylor accepted a position with Bloomberg in the Corporate and Transactional Division. Upon returning to Chattanooga, Taylor served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Chattanooga, then opened his own law firm. He specializes in the areas of municipal defense, contractual and transactional matters, civil litigation, business entity formation, and corporate governance.
