Associate, Knoxville Office
John Fuchs is an associate attorney at Spicer Rudstrom PLLC’s Knoxville office, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, insurance defense, and premises liability.
Originally from the greater New York area, John began his professional journey by serving in the United States Army as an Infantryman with the 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment (“Golden Dragons”), 25th Infantry Division, stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. During his distinguished military career, he completed two overseas deployments, earning invaluable leadership and problem-solving skills before being honorably discharged.
After his military service, John embarked on a path of academic and professional growth, living in several states before settling in Tennessee in 2018. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in 2021, specializing in Finance with a collateral focus in Supply Chain Management. Driven by his passion for the law, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University–Duncan School of Law in 2025.
While in law school, John honed his legal acumen through hands-on experience in both civil and criminal litigation, working on diverse cases that sharpened his advocacy skills and deepened his understanding of courtroom dynamics.
Outside the office, John channels his discipline and determination into endurance sports. He is an accomplished athlete, having completed multiple IRONMAN 70.3 races and a full IRONMAN, with more challenges on the horizon. A lifelong hockey enthusiast, John remains a devoted fan of the New York Rangers.
