Thomas practices out of the firm’s Chattanooga office and assists and represents individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in a variety of civil matters. He has been with the firm for many years and has been a member since 2009.
Thomas attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1997. While in law school, Thomas was named to the Dean’s List, served as a teaching assistant, and excelled in various areas of study. After graduating from law school, Thomas obtained his license to practice law in Georgia and Tennessee and actively practices law in those states. He has achieved an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Thomas handles a variety of civil litigation including personal injury litigation resulting from automobile accidents and premises liability cases, construction litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and employment practices litigation. He has successfully handled as lead counsel multiple cases, both jury and non-jury, through verdict and appeal in both Tennessee and Georgia.
Thomas grew up in nearby Ringgold, Georgia, and has lived in the Chattanooga area his entire life. He is married to Amanda and they have two children, Ben and Kara. When not at work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and being on the golf course and on the racquetball court.
