John (Jack) T. Reese has been practicing law in Nashville and throughout the state of Tennessee since 1993. He focuses his practice areas on litigation, primarily professional liability/healthcare liability for medical providers and institutions, product liability, premises liability, and general insurance defense. He has also handled multiple personal injury cases in other areas including personal injury, wrongful death, drug and medical device litigation, and probate matters.

Mr. Reese was born and raised in Nashville and joined the firm as of counsel in 2019. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar originally in 1993 and is admitted to practice in all state and appellate courts in Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

He graduated from Father Ryan High School in Nashville in 1985, received a BS degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1989, and received his JD degree in 1993 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, Mr. Reese was a member of the Cumberland Law Review from 1991 to 1993 and was voted an outstanding senior member of the Cumberland Law Revue during 1992-1993.

Mr. Reese is also a Tennessee Rule 31 certified general mediator in addition to maintaining an active civil litigation caseload. He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association. His hobbies include skiing, fishing, hunting, and golf.
