Rob is an experienced trial lawyer in the firm’s Chattanooga office. Rob’s practice areas include tort liability defense to include catastrophic injury cases, trucking and transportation, construction defect litigation, workers’ compensation, and automobile liability. A natural problem solver, he enjoys formulating creative trial strategies and solutions for handling claims and lawsuits across industries.
Rob has received an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. He is involved with the International Society of Primerus Law Firms, Primerus Defense Institute, and its Transportation Defense Practice Group. He is also a Member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.
He graduated with academic distinction with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Virginia Military Institute. While there, as a member in the Corps of Cadets, he had the opportunity of serving in the Presidential Inaugural Parade and Ceremonies for President George H.W. Bush. Rob was also accepted to study at St. Anne’s College at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. Deciding he wanted to use his problem-solving abilities to help people in legal need, Rob entered law school. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was a member of Law Review.
Rob is married to his wife, Shannon. They have four sons, Daniel, Caleb, Ethan, and Joseph. He is active in the community, serving on the board of the Hixson Youth Athletic Association. During his time away from the office, Rob enjoys coaching youth baseball and youth wrestling.
